He has a MSEE from University of South Carolina and BS in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University. His prime research interest is in the navigation technologies and art of war. He was dumped from the Air Force Academy to a dirty, rotten infantry platoon for his deviated septum. Inspired by Norwegian’s quest for Viking’s navigation and the book “Longitude”, he now plans to investigate how Cheng, Her (鄭和) managed his seven voyages from China to Africa and probably Australia around the time of Christopher Columbus.
